Welcome Little Nora Kettenton

NORA ELISE KETTENTONbaby, newborn, infant, wide awake, father, father's arms, girl,

Lindsey and I share a common love for God and tea. I am sure there are other things too but needless to say, we became friends shortly after we moved to Monterey. I was thrilled when I found out she was expecting and shared in the excitement when she found out she was having a boy. Lindsey and Josh already have an adorable 3 year old little boy so when we asked if she needed anything she said, “No”, with a smile. About 5 weeks ago I called because I thought it would be nice to get together for some tea and our boys could play. She quickly informed me that the doctor made a mistake on the last sonogram and they were having a little GIRL! I then asked, “Do you have anything for a little girl?” She giggled, “No.” Two weeks later a bunch of us girls had the funnest little baby shower for her. Everyone went over and above to show Lindsey she was loved and I was so happy to see such a special person be blessed like that.

Not too many weeks after, plus lots of hard work, Nora Elise Kettenton was born March 6th, 2016 at 4:54pm in the afternoon. She weighted 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and she measured 21 inches long. I had the honor of being invited to the hospital just after she was born to take some pictures of her. Beautiful, and already so eager to communicate she captured our hearts. It was so much fun to watch Liam (her big brother) just be completely in awe of her. You can just see how open she is to be loved, she just soaks it all in. Truly children are a blessing from The Lord.

Someone would have to be blind not to see that these two are brother and sister, just look at their expressions. Oh, and how is it that Nora can see me? I was at least 3 feet away from her.

Is it just me or is the baby deer outfit one of the sweetest things you have ever seen?naked, baby, little girl, sleeping, infant, newborn, pinkfather, mother, daughter, sleeping, awake baby, baby, newborn, infant, black and white, wide-eye baby

These last images were some of my favorites, wide-eyed with curiosity, completely trusting, and perfectly innocent. Each moment is to be treasured and looking back on these moments gives us an example of the way perfect love should look.

With all my heart, thank you Josh and Lindsey for letting me see it all over again!

Hey girl! This is JoAnn Lambert. You do an amazing job. I know you are out of town but how much do you charge to do newborn pics? Cody is going to be a daddy the first part of June. They don’t have a lot to spend so the minimum pics would do. Not sure if you would be this way around that time. Thanks and hope all is wellReplyCancel
